Barbara said:
“I am happy to demonstrate my commitment to taking action to benefit disabled children, young people and their families in Worsley and Eccles South constituency by signing up to Every Disabled Child Matters’ five-point pledge.
“As MP for Worsley I have supported the work of the Every Disabled Child Matters campaign. I have met representatives from Salford Primary Care Trust and Salford City Council and taken up cases with them. I have visited local centres which provide services for disabled children. I have also attended meetings in Westminster to discuss how to improve health services for disabled children.
“There is still work to do to improve services for disabled children and their families and I will continue to work with the Every Disabled Child Matters campaign to bring about positive change.”
