Barbara pledges to ‘do her bit’ for British Armed Forces

Barbara has pledged to do her bit for the British Armed Forces family locally and nationally. She has signed up to support The Royal British Legion’s manifesto calls for the forthcoming General Election and beyond.

In recognition of this support, The Royal British Legion gave Barbara a personal card to remind her of her pledge to do her bit for the British Armed Forces and show support for the whole Armed Forces family.

Barbara said:

“I have pledged to do my bit to support The Royal British legion’s manifesto for the General Election and beyond. I support the Legion’s priorities for the next Government, which will improve quality of life for the British Armed Forces, their families and veterans. I have worked with constituents who have had family members injured on active service and I know how important it is to have world-class medical and support services for injured service people.

“The work done by The Royal British Legion for the Armed Forces family matters to me and to many people in Worsley and Eccles South. We can all do our bit to support those who sacrifice so much for us.”
