Barbara recently joined Little Hulton ward councillors Val and Eric Burgoyne to launch the new-look Little Hulton Post Office.

Barbara cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony at the Post Office located in Little Hulton District Centre.

The new-look branch is designed to make it easier for customers to do business, through longer opening hours and a modern open plan environment.

Barbara said:

"I was pleased to hear that Little Hulton Post Office was to be modernised to create a bright modern branch. I was delighted to formally declare the new branch open and to congratulate postmaster Rebecca Sharples on her hard work.

"The Post Office is vital to the community in this area of Little Hulton and throughout Worsley generally. I feel sure that my constituents will welcome the new improved office and the longer opening hours."
