Age UK’s Covid-19 advice hub has the latest up to date information on coronavirus. Many older people might be feeling worried, scared, sad or even a bit angry at the thought of having to stay at home and not see loved ones. Age UK offer advice to older people and their families and loved ones on staying safe and well, what you can do to help, and information on what Age UK is doing to support older people through the pandemic.

Age UK’s also has an advice line which is a free, confidential national phone service for older people, their families, friends, carers and professionals. Lines are open 8am-7pm, 365 days a year. The team will give you information that is reliable and up to date and help people to access the advice you need.

Advice for volunteers

In these challenging times, lots of people have been asking how they can support older people who are staying at home. In order to best support those older people who may be in need of some simple assistance immediately, you can take part in neighbourly volunteering.
