Barbara commemorates Holocaust Memorial Day

Barbara said:

"I feel that it is important that events like the Holocaust are commemorated to ensure that the terrible events that took place in history are not repeated.

"The Holocaust represents a tradgedy for hunmanity and stands as a warning to all of what can happen if people do not respect one another.

"Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Disabled People and those of Eastern European origin all died in the Nazi concentration camps for no reason other than who they were.

"It is right that events like Holocaust Memorial Day take place to remind this generation of what took place during the 1930s and 1940s."
