Barbara hosts local High Schools in consultation exercise

Barbara hosted the first of a series 'Just Listening' exercises in her constituency office.

Six pupils from local High Schools were invited to participate in the discussion on the following topics:

  • What single thing would most improve your quality of life and your community’s quality of life by 2010, and is this Government’s job?
  • What does fairness mean to you and how could Britain become a fairer society?
  • What can we all do to make politics more honest, more relevant and more effective?
  • What does Britishness mean to you and what can we do to make it more of a reality to unify society?

'Just Listening' is a project organised by the Fabian Society that will help influence and develop policy for the forthcoming term of government.
