Barbara launches anti-social behaviour handbook

ASB handbookBarbara has launched an anti-social behaviour handbook to make sure people in Salford know their rights and can more easily access the support that is available to tackle anti-social behaviour in the community.

The handbook explains how the law works to protect people from anti-social behaviour and gives contact details for local police, neighbourhood watch teams and housing trusts.

Barbara said:

“I am sending out the anti-social behaviour handbook to residents, libraries and community centres in Salford to make sure people know that the law is on their side and how to get help.

“The handbook provides information on how to tackle a wide variety of anti-social behaviour, from the misuse of fireworks to binge-drinking and public nuisance.

“Anti-social or threatening behaviour should not be tolerated under any circumstances but sometimes people don’t know where to turn for support. I’d like to encourage individuals, families and organisations in Worsley constituency who would like one of these handbooks to get in touch and I will make sure they receive a copy. ”
