Barbara Keeley MP

Barbara meets new school council members at Peel Hall Primary

Barbara visited Peel Hall Primary School to meet newly-elected members of the school council.

Barbara talked to the pupils at the school about the job of an MP and then gave out certificates to each of the School Council members and deputies.

Barbara said:

“Peel Hall Primary school runs elections to its school council in the same way that local elections are run, which is a great way for students to learn about elections and democracy.

"It was great to talk to the pupils about my job at Westminster and they agreed to write to me with any issues that they want me to raise on behalf of their school."
