Barbara presents new PCs to local schools

Barbara recently visited the local Tesco store in Walkden to present PCs to local schools. The PCs were the result of the Tesco "Computers for Schools" voucher scheme.

Tesco also give sports equipment to schools in another promotion.

Barbara said:

"Tesco in Walkden is an important shop for local people and also an sizeable local employer. It is great that parents from Peel Hall Primary and St George's RC High school have enabled the schools to benefit from this IT equipment. The store manager also told us of a new promotion to ensure that even higher value IT equipment can be earned by schools and this is a very positive development. I am pleased that Tesco are also helping to promote sport and fitness activities through another promotion that can help local schools gain new sports equipment."
