Barbara congratulates Eccles-based Americhem on winning Queen’s Award

Queens AwardBarbara recently attended an awards ceremony at Americhem Europe’s premises in Eccles at which the company was recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for 2012.

The Lord Lieutenant for Greater Manchester officially presented Americhem Europe Ltd with the prestigious honour, which was awarded in the category of International  Trade. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most important and coveted business awards. They are presented to the country’s best businesses by the Queen in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

Barbara said:

“I was pleased to be invited to join Americhem Europe Ltd to celebrate their success and I congratulate them for receiving such an important award.  I am delighted that a local company has been recognised as one of the UK’s best businesses.  This is a very great honour for the company’s workforce in Eccles and they should all be very proud.”
