Businesses which have been directly affected or required to close due to lockdown restrictions are now able to apply for support from Salford City Council. Grants are available to businesses who have been required to close, as well as those who saw demand fall due to local lockdown restrictions over the Summer.

Businesses need to have a rateable value and be registered for business rates to receive the grant. The amount you might receive will depend on the size of your business and the restrictions you have faced, up to a maximum of £3,000 per month.

You only need to apply for the grant once, and the Council will calculate how much support you are eligible for.
