The Post Office have announced that, following a temporary closure, they will be opening a new Post Office in Higher Irlam. The new branch, located at NISA Local, 98 Liverpool Road, Irlam, M44 6FF will open on Monday 12^th July, and will replace the former branch on Fiddlers Lane.

This welcome announcement means that residents in Higher Irlam will get access to the Post Office services they have been missing since the Fiddlers Lane branch closed.

The new branch is only a short walk from the previous location, as shown on the map below.
