Salford’s extra cash to fix potholes

HighwayBarbara has welcomed extra cash to improve roads and highways across Salford.

Transport Minister Paul Clark has announced that Salford Council will receive an extra £300,000 this year and next year to improve the state of local roads.

Barbara said:

“In a recent survey of residents of Little Hulton and Walkden North, six out of every ten people we talked to said they were fed up with potholes in their local roads.

“It is great that the Government are helping with this problem by giving extra cash to improve our local roads. The extra cash will also help boost with construction jobs which will help boost our local economy in Salford.”
