Barbara recently hosted a Britain’s Best Breakfast Event in Walkden to raise money for the Carers Trust.

The breakfast event was held at Walkden Gateway and was attended by local people. The event was one of many taking place across the country in September and October.

Kellogg’s in Trafford Park and Greggs in the Ellesmere Centre in Walkden generously donated breakfast products for the event.

Barbara said:

“I was delighted that local people came along to support the Best Breakfast Event to raise funds for the Carers Trust’s important work supporting carers. We raised £270 from donations and a raffle.

The money raised will be sent to the Carers Trust so that it can be used to help support more unpaid carers and give them a break from their caring role.

“I would like to thank Kellogg’s for donating a variety of cereals and cereal bars for the event and also Greggs who donated pastries. Thanks also to everyone who supported the event.”
