Donald Trump’s so-called ‘peace plan’ for Israel and Palestine does nothing to promote peace, and is not a suitable basis for negotiations. With colleagues from across Parliament, I’ve written to the Prime Minister urging him to stand up to the US on this and protect Palestinian land from annexation by the Israeli Government.

As we leave the EU, the UK must stand up for its values and for international law around the world. If the Prime Minister continues to bow to the US President on this matter, how can we expect him to stand up for our values over the coming years?
