This week, Parliament debated the issues facing touring musicians as a result of the Government’s deal with the EU. I put in to speak in the debate but I wasn’t called so couldn’t share the concerns I have heard from across the music sector.

Following the debate, I’ve written to the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport calling for action on key areas to ensure that British musicians can freely tour the EU once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. If these changes are not made, I am concerned that our music industry may be irreparably damaged.
